Schedule Overview


The class can be broadly divided into practice sessions and theory sessions

Practice Sessions consist of Morning Yoga Classes:

  • Morning Ashtanga Vinyasa Classes – Asana Practice in traditional Led and Mysore-style formats – Monday through Friday mornings – 5:30 to 8:30am
  • Pranayama, Prathyahara, Dharana, Dhyana – Explanation and Practice sessions – Saturdays – 6:00 to 7:30am

Theory and Meditation Practice Classes:

  • Asana Techniques and Adjustments, Meditation Practice, Introduction to Ayurveda and Chakra Concepts. Yoga Anatomy. Philosophy. Classes in the mornings – thrice a week – Monday/Wednesdays/Fridays- 9:30 am to 12pm

Class Content

Yoga Anatomy
Concepts include introduction to and explanation of Breathing, Spine and Yoga, Muscular and Skeletal Systems, specific anatomical explanations for various categories of poses.

Concepts taught include introduction to Ayurveda, the 3 prakrithis (Vatha, Pittha, Kapha), adaptation of concepts of Ayurveda into daily routines

Teaching Methodologies
Concepts taught include alignment, importance of working with students’ requirements, learning styles
