    • Note:

All teacher training certificates (Teacher Certification / Associate Teacher Certification) are conferred only to students who are eligible to teach. In a sense, this is a subjective view. Recent excessive commercial norms have dictated certifying by time and money, reducing learning to a commodity. Yet, peace and happiness that Yoga can teach have constantly escaped time and money. Since time and money are of the mind and yoga is the cessation of the turnings of the mind, I have decided that I will offer teacher training certificates only to those that I feel are fit and ready to spread this experience in as pure a form as I have felt it, if not better. To be certified as a ‘Associate Teacher’ or ‘Teacher’ at Samyama, find below the general guidelines and considerations:

      • Regular attendance to classes (90% plus attendance)
      • Regular and on-time submission of assignments at high quality (90% on-time)
      • Attitude of humility, questioning established norms, introspection apart from common qualities for becoming a teacher
      • Ability to understand the world beyond the basic sense-view and ability to apply the same in the learning environment
